Varsity Takes the Season's First Road Trip

Following a weekend of home games, the Marauder Varsity will take the program's first road trip, traveling to Fall Mountain High School for a 4:00 p.m. match. The protocols for traveling are straightforward, but it's crucial that we get them right. We'll have a dozen players traveleing with parents by car, which creates enough room on the bus, where we are required to set no more than 24 individuals, all with their own seat. Here's how it will work: All players will be dismissed at 2:00, after 6th period. They will gather in the lobby outside the the athletic hallway, and have their temoerature checked and recorded. Players traveling by car can pick up their snacks and head to the parental vehicles. Players traveling by bus will board the bus and stay in assigned seats. A seating chart will be recorded. Directions: Fall Mountain is at #122 Rt. 12A #5, Langdon, NH 03602. Take 91 south to Exit 7 and follow Rt. 11 to 12A and through Charlestown. A mile South of Charlestown, bear right onto 12A, crossing over the road, and follow 12A to the High School in Langdon (4-5) miles. School on the right. These are the Fall Mountain protocols: Spectators must wear masks. Spectators will be asked to provide their name and phone number to game management personnel. Visiting spectators are asked to park in the area between the home plate of the softball field and the barn, and enter the viewing area between home plate and the barn. Visiting spectators will watch the game from the side of the field where the scoreboard is located. No spectators are allowed inside the fence. On the return trip, players on the bus will sit in the same seat which they used for the trip to the game. Players who arrived on the bus may drive home with their parents. Game note for all players in all games: Players may not celebrate goals or good plays with any physical contact: no high fives, fist bumps, hugs or handshakes. Blog note: It has come to our atention that the formatting is haywire, and lists, schedules and the like are scrambled. We will work to resolve this immediately.
